My name is Chad Pavlick, and I am the Outfitter at Front Range Drifters. I have been guiding on the Big Horn River and since 1999. I also guide the Big Horn river in Wyoming.
The Stillwater river, and lower Yellowstone river. Along With Yellowstone National Park. I grew up fishing the rivers of Montana, Wyoming, and Yellowstone National Park with my dad and friends. While attending Rocky Mountain College in Billings on a Ski Racing scholarship, I began guiding on the Big Horn. After graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management in 2001, I continued pursuing my career in fly fishing. I know the Big Horn in every season, and in any weather condition.
Fly fishing became a part of mine, and my family’s life. Being able to follow the seasons, and understanding the ecosystem is a privilege, that my wife and I are now sharing with oursons.
My guide work had been featured in Fly Fishing America, ESPN’s Suzuki Great Outdoors with Burt Jones, and recently in Steve Galletta’s Fly Fishing the Big Horn.
